I worked with Hitachi on Ho Chi Minh City’s first urban railway project as a Project Administrative Assistant. In this role, I supported executives by organizing meetings, coordinating across engineering and operations teams, and ensuring clear communication through translation and reporting. I prepared and maintained Excel-based reports to track site progress, budgets, and resource usage, supported compliance checks and documentation, and managed logistics between the office and project site. This experience strengthened my skills in cross-functional coordination, data analysis, and operational support.
This large-scale project required managing and reporting significant volumes of data for senior managers, which helped me recognize the critical role data plays in effective decision-making. After moving to the United States, I strengthened my technical foundation by completing courses in data analysis and enrolling at Dallas College to further enhance my skills.
